Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Scroll Coach (the "Service"). By using the app you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Scroll Coach.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital consent age in your country, if higher) to use the Service. By using it you represent that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide is accurate.

2. What Scroll Coach is

Scroll Coach lets you save content you choose from social media into a private, searchable personal corpus, organize it, run AI features over it, and optionally expose it read only to AI assistants you authorize. All capture is user initiated: you decide what to save, either by sharing a link into the app or by signing in to a platform inside the app to import your own saved content. Scroll Coach does not scrape platforms or access content you have not chosen to save.

3. Your account

You can use Scroll Coach with an anonymous device identity or secure it with an account (email or Google). If you secure an account, your corpus follows that account across devices. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials safe. Notify us of any unauthorized use.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the Service to infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights;
• capture or process content you do not have the right to access or retain;
• use Scroll Coach to scrape, bulk harvest, or otherwise access platforms or other people's data in violation of those platforms' terms or applicable law (you are responsible for your own compliance with the platforms you sign in to);
• attempt to access another user's corpus, probe or breach our security, abuse or overload the Service, or interfere with it;
• use the Service to build a competing dataset by automated bulk extraction beyond your own personal captures;
• reverse engineer or resell the Service except as permitted by law, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

5. Your content and the license you grant us

You keep all rights you already have in the content you save and the notes and collections you create ("Your Content"). You grant us a limited, non exclusive, worldwide, royalty free license to store, copy, transmit, process, analyze, index, and display Your Content solely to provide the Service to you and to the AI assistants you authorize. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for backups that age out on our normal schedule and anything we must retain by law. We do not use Your Content to train AI models, and we do not sell it.

6. AI features and accuracy

Scroll Coach uses AI to summarize, extract, and answer questions about Your Content. AI output can be incomplete or wrong. It is provided for your convenience and is not professional, legal, medical, financial, or other expert advice. Verify anything important. AI access to your corpus is read only and can't modify your data. Content saved from third parties may itself be inaccurate or objectionable; we present it as data and do not endorse it.

7. Third party services

The Service integrates third party providers (for example the AI providers that generate analysis and answers, cloud hosting, and the external AI assistants you may authorize to read your corpus). Your use of a connected third party service is governed by that party's own terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for third party services.

8. Copyright complaints

We respect intellectual property rights. A user's Scroll Coach corpus is private to that user, but if you believe content stored or made accessible through the Service infringes your copyright, send a notice to scrollcoachapp@gmail.com identifying the work, the allegedly infringing material, your contact information, and a good faith statement that the use is not authorized. We will respond as applicable law requires, including removing or disabling access to infringing material and, where appropriate, terminating repeat infringers.

9. Plans, billing, and credits

Scroll Coach offers a free tier and paid plans, with usage shown to you and pay per use overage visible before it's charged. We don't offer lifetime plans. Specific prices, limits, and billing terms are presented in the app at the time of purchase, are processed by the applicable app store or payment provider, and form part of these Terms when you subscribe.

10. Termination

You can stop using Scroll Coach at any time and delete all of your data from Settings. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated or to protect the Service or other users. On termination, the license in Section 5 ends and your data is deleted in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error free, or that AI output will be accurate. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty exclusions, so some of these may not apply to you.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scroll Coach will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or 50 USD. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or any third party rights.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the provider's jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law rules, and nothing in them limits any consumer protections you are entitled to under the law where you live.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. We'll update the date above and notify you of material changes in app or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
